We encourage parents at the Centre to view our weekly Learning Experiences and Reflections Journal. We believe that parental involvement is critical to ensuring that all children’s needs are met.  We welcome input from parents, outside professionals and community members of the Central Coast.

We have two weekly Learning  Experience Journals : Indoor and Outdoor. We welcome input from our parents who have a talent, occupation or aspect of their culture that they wish to share with the children. We will happily work with you to ensure that we can include any of those mentioned into our Learning Experiences for the children. 

When visiting our Centre, we are happy to discuss: our computer programmes, room transitions, school readiness awareness and the educational shows that visit Blue Gum throughout the year.

Your child’s teacher will be happy to show you evidence on how we identify your child’s strengths and interests and how we select appropriate teaching strategies to ensure that children are actively involved learners.

Our Learning Experiences are reflective and inclusive of all children, families, cultures and learning styles in the Centre and are designed to support and recognise the needs of all children in the Centre.
