Staff will build trusting and respectful realtionships with all children, families, other staff and members of the community of the Central Coast.

All of our staff are qualified for the positions they hold at Blue Gum. Those positions range from Trainees with Certificate III in Childcare to university trained educators.

We are committed to the ongoing development of our staff; this is evident in our Centre Policy on Staff Training, which ensures a proactive approach is always taken by all staff members and management.

The Centre actively encourages staff to be continually proactive about their on going education and development.  Management provides two educational training sessions for each staff member every year.  The training selected will usually be reflective of the needs of the children attending the Centre at that time.

We work closely with other outside professionals to further develop our skills in areas of need and welcome their input and knowledge into our areas of review.

Management and staff will continue to use reflection of their own practises to develop, review and enhance the opportunities and practises of Belonging, Being and Becoming.
